Việt Nam records 35 earthquakes in 2018 so far
Việt Nam has recorded 35 earthquakes of magnitude 2.5-4.5 so far this year, according the Earthquake and Tsunami Warning Centre under the Institute of Geophysics. Most of these earthquakes occured in mountainous provinces bordering China and Laos, such as Quảng Nam, Sơn La, Điện Biên, Lai Châu, Thừa Thiên-Huế, Cao Bằng, Nghệ An, Thanh Hóa, Hà Tĩnh and Quảng Ninh.
